Admissions - Application Instructions
 

STEP 1:  Attend an Information Meeting and Tour. Click here for a list of currently scheduled meetings. Call (425-313-9129) or email (office@sjsissaquah.org) the school office to sign up. When you visit St. Joseph School you will learn about our program, curriculum, mission, history, educational philosophy, and have the opportunity to visit classrooms. Information Meetings and Tours are intended for adults.

STEP 2:  Review application materials thoroughly.  Return all application forms and fees to St. Joseph School, 220 Mtn. Park Blvd. SW, Issaquah WA 98027. All application materials must be complete before an application is accepted.

APPLICATION FORM – Complete both sides.

FEES -   A $350 enrollment fee per student is due with your application. This covers the $300 registration fee (returning and new students) and the $50 application fee (new students only, including all Kindergarten students.) At the end of the application period, if your student has not been accepted into St. Joseph School, you will receive a refund of all monies minus the $50 application fee. If your student has been accepted into St. Joseph School and you withdraw for any reason, no monies will be refunded.

REGISTRATION CONTRACT – Review, sign and date.

TUITION AND FUNDRAISING AGREEMENT – Review and complete; sign and date.

PARENT QUESTIONNAIRE – Please complete one questionnaire for each student applying.

ELEMENTARY TEACHER EVALUATION FORM  or
KINDERGARTEN TEACHER EVALUATION FORM– A Teacher Evaluation Form should be given to each student’s current teacher(s). Please have the teacher(s) complete and mail the form directly to St. Joseph School. These are confidential and cannot be received directly from the parent/guardian or student.

STUDENT RECORDS

  • Include a copy of each applicant’s most recent report card for applicants entering Grade 1 or above.

  • Include a copy of each applicant’s most recent standardized test scores (ITBS, WASL, etc.) for each applicant entering Grade 3 or above.

  • Include a copy of each applicant’s birth certificate and baptismal certificate (if applicable.)

STEP 3: Students need to be assessed prior to acceptance.

ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS - After all application materials have been received your student will be assessed. Call the school office, 425-313-9129 ext. 321, to schedule an appointment.  

STEP 4: Admission Decisions. All kindergarten applicants will be contacted by letter regarding their application status. Letters will be mailed in mid-March. All applicants will be contacted by phone during the same time period.
