Volunteer Opportunities Available!

There are many new volunteer opportunities available this spring. Please be sure to check the Volunteer Section below.


Middle School Summer Reading Camp at St. Joseph in Snoqualmie is Back for Summer 2018! – Register by May 15, 2018 and Receive a $50.00 Discount Per Session!

Register now for Reading Camp at SJS in July!  Mrs. Brown and Mrs. White are offering sessions for current 5, 6, 7 and 8 grade students. Each camp session is a week-long morning or afternoon focused on a specific novel. Camp sessions include reading, writing, enrichment activities and snacks. Summer reading sessions DO COUNT toward student’s middle school summer reading requirement.  Please click here for descriptions of camp sessions and registration materials. Fitness Calendars

It is time to get your April Fitness Calendars!  Please turn in your March calendar as soon as possible, and get the April calendar.  Calendars are available by signing on to the school website at sjsissaquah.org.  Go to Community, For Parents and Students, Teacher websites, find Mrs. Hughes and Fitness Calendars.  Thank you for participating in this fun activity.  Let's keep moving!


Yearbook pictures needed

The yearbook committee is hard at work creating a book full of memories from the school year and we are looking for yearbook pictures! Do you have pictures from last fall? Do you have pictures from soccer, basketball, or cross country?

Winning Bidder for the Maui Ka’anapali Beach Condo

Thank you all for your contributions to this year’s overwhelmingly successful auction!

We are thrilled to report the winner of the Maui Ka’anapali Beach Condo that went back up for bid!

Congratulations to SJS Grandmother Arlene Warnke who won the five nights in Maui with the high bid of $2,000!

Scholastic Book Fair volunteers needed for Snoqualmie Campus

The Issaquah position has been filled and we are now looking for Scholastic Book Fair chairs for next fall on the Snoqualmie Campus.

We will offer spring training for this position.

Parents Club Opportunity!

Want to get a jump on volunteer hours for the 2018-19 schoolyear?  Want to be more involved with the school and help to provide a great environment for all of our students?  Then the Parents' Club Executive Board needs you.

Mandatory Volunteer Requirements:

At St. Joseph School the safety of our students, mind and body, is important to all of us. In order to volunteer in any capacity that involves students such as classroom volunteers, coaches, scout leaders, or field trip volunteers, volunteers must meet the following requirements:



●  Go online at virtusonline.org, fill out and pass a Volunteer Background Check every 3 years. Complete associated on-line class.

●  Review the Volunteer Handbook yearly

●  Sign a Confidentiality Pledge yearly (last page of the Volunteer Handbook)



           ●  Attend a volunteer training at St. Joseph School. Scheduled for just prior to either campus’ Back to School Night.

           ●  Sign a Confidentiality Pledge yearly (last page of the Volunteer Handbook),

           ●  Go online at virtusonline.org to request and pass a Volunteer Background Check.

           ●  Attend a free, 3-hour Safe Environment training program “Protecting God’s Children” for Adults
               held in locations throughout the Seattle Archdiocese. (Register for classes at www.virtusonline.org)

           ●  Send a copy of your certificate of completion to Roxane Barkley in the school office.
