Live Auction:

#4  Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria - Pizza History, Tour and Lunch

Up to 20 guests (ten children/ten adults) will be treated to an educational lesson on the history of Neapolitan Pizza and how Tutta Bella was created to uphold the authenticity of the Verace Pizza Napoletana “True Neapolitan Pizza”.

Guests will also enjoy a tour of the restaurant and viewing of the kitchen* in action - pizza being made from start to finish – and a lesson on gelato and samples. After you have learned all things pizza, lunch for the guests will be served (including an option for wine and beer for adults 21 and over) up to $500.


Event for up to twenty guests up to a $500 value. Reservation requires thirty day  notice on a mutually agreed upon date/time (not valid Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings). Event will be held at Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria - Bellevue. Event cannot be redeemed for cash value.

Parents’ Club also needs committee chair people to oversee and lead upcoming events in the 2017-18 school year.

From Mrs. El Koury

For the past 13 years I have had the honor and privilege of being a teacher at St. Joseph School. After numerous and heart felt talks with my husband and family I have decided to retire from a profession that I have loved and devoted over 30 years of my life to. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, especially my seven grandchildren. I want to thank Peg Johnston and Jackie Olund, all my fellow teachers, and all the members of the St. Joseph family for their support through the years.  I can truly say that I have been more than blessed to have been a part of our St. Joseph family. SJS Middle School Play Stuart Little

Ladies and gentlemen, please join us and fall in love with the pint-size character Stuart, a talking mouse, who is just trying to make it in life. In this story, he sets out on an adventure to figure things out even though he is quite different from others. The cast of the winter play has been working hard to present a delightful performance of Stuart Little, and we would love your company. Please join the SJS Players the evening of March 9, 2017 at 7:00pm in the Snoqualmie campus gym for an adapted version of E.B. White’s tale, Stuart Little.

Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest Winners - 2017

Knights of Columbus Council No. 7907 sponsored a poster contest for the youth of St. Joseph Parish. Both the school and Sunday faith formation classes competed. The Knights are proud to announce the following school winners: Grades K – 2, First place: Anwell G. Grades 6 – 8, First place: Majesty P., Second place: Hannah M. We wish Anwell and Majesty the best of luck as their entries advance to the next round of judging at Washington State Council. Thank you to all that participated!

Pizza Fridays

Are you looking for some fun volunteer hours? Help is still needed to distribute lunchtime pizza at the Snoqualmie Campus on Pizza Fridays.  Please contact Michelle Macartney sarrufm@hotmail.com if you are interested.   

Mandatory Volunteer Requirements:

At St. Joseph School the safety of our students, mind and body, is important to all of us. In order to volunteer in any capacity that involves students such as classroom volunteers, coaches, scout leaders, or field trip volunteers, volunteers must meet the following requirements: 


           ●  Attend a volunteer training at St. Joseph School.

           ●  Sign a Confidentiality Pledge yearly (last page of the Volunteer Handbook)

           ●  Go online at http://www.virtusonline.org to request and pass a Volunteer Background Check.

           ●  Attend a free, 3-hour Safe Environment training program “Protecting God’s Children” for Adults held in locations throughout the Seattle Archdiocese. Register for classes at www.virtusonline.org.
           ●  Send a copy of your certificate of completion to Roxane Barkley in the school office at office@sjsissaquah.org              


●  Go online at www.virtusonline.org, fill out and pass a Volunteer Background Check every 3 years. Complete associated on-line class.

●  Review the Volunteer Handbook yearly

●  Sign a Confidentiality Pledge yearly (last page of the Volunteer Handbook)

New Safe Environment information:

The archdiocese has made substantial changes to the Safe Environment program last year and it has been working out the glitches over the year. The archdiocese still requires a valid background check every three years, a 3 hour in-person class, and every three years, an on-line course.  The school also requires in-person attendance at a class conducted at school and a signed Confidentiality Form. The school form is on our website.


All background checks and on-line classes go through www.virtusonline.org.  If you have been a volunteer anywhere in the archdiocese previously, you will be in the system. Please contact Roxane Barkley at office@sjsissaquah.org if you need help navigating the system.
