INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Back to School Night – Snoqualmie Campus tonight!
Please plan to attend St. Joseph Back to School night. The Snoqualmie Campus night is this evening, Thursday, September 21, at 7:00pm.
These special parent nights will give you an opportunity to meet the staff and teachers. This is a parent only event.
Conference Sign-Ups will be available. Conferences are scheduled for November 8 and 9.
There will be a New Parent Volunteer Training at 6:15pm tonight in Snoqualmie. This is a one-time mandatory training if you would like to volunteer.
Middle School Conferences Online Sign-up
Conferences take place in Snoqualmie on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 and Thursday, November 9, 2017. This year conferences for middle school families will be held in the gym--arena style. This is a change from previous years. To sign-up click the link to the google doc below. Please sign up for a 30 minute window of time. Four families may sign-up for each 30 minute window. During that window of time, you will have the opportunity to meet with each of your student's teachers for approximately 5 minutes. All five middle school teachers will be available to meet during this time. Parents will rotate from teacher to teacher. Please arrive at the beginning of your scheduled time. This style of conferencing will allow parents to talk with each subject area teacher individually.
Link to Wednesday Conference Sign-up. Wednesday conferences run from 12:30-6:15 pm.
Link to Thursday Conference Sign-up. Thursday conferences run from 9:00-3:30 pm.
If you have trouble viewing or navigating the google doc please email your son/daughter’s homeroom teacher directly. We will also have two computers available for you to use to sign-up at Back-to-School Night.
Middle School Grade Book Portal
Middle School parents can view their student’s grades via the online portal. If you created an account last year, your user name and information is the same. For new middle school families, information about accessing student grades and directions for logging into PowerSchool will be distributed tonight, during Back to School Night, in student’s homerooms. The portal is open. Click this link, PowerSchool Portal, to access the login page.
Save those BOX TOPS! Box tops are the Pink squares you will find on purchases from the store from cereal to zip lock bags. We are collecting them for the library. Our goal for this school year is adding new books to our nonfiction collection, especially in the high-interest areas of animals and space. All you have to do is put them in an envelope or baggie and send them in with your Green Folder or just have your student drop them by the office. If you have any questions, you can email Jen at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!

Let your everyday shopping support SJS students & provide 30% back to you as a tuition credit for 2017 - 2018 school year!
SJS Scrip Program is a fundraising program for the school that allows parents to purchase Cash Cards for your everyday shopping needs. The cash cards you purchase through our program generate rebates from the participating retailers. A portion of these rebates can be used as a credit towards your 2017-2018 Tuition Account (30% of the family’s rebate with 70% going to the school), or 100% as a gift to the school. Family rebates generated from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 qualify. For example, a family that generates a total $1000 in rebates for the year will earn $300 in tuition credit for next school year. Please submit your family’s Scrip Tuition Agreement & let your everyday shopping support your family’s 2017-2018 tuition or 100% back to the school. Tuition credits for 2016-2017 school year will be distributed in October 2018. This year Scrip tuition credit will distribute over $1700 to 7 families in October 2017 as they participated in Scrip Tuition Credit program for 2015 – 2016. You can make your money work for the school & a tuition credit for next year.
