Salmon Days 2019
We are looking for all students to represent our school as we march in the
Salmon Days Parade on Saturday, October 5th.
This is a great way for you to show your SJS pride!
All students are encouraged to participate.
We are super excited this year as we will be participating in the parade using a trailer.
This way, students under the age of 8 years old can join us!
Participants will need to be dropped off at the staging area at 9:00am and then the parade will start at 10:00am. If your student would like to participate, please email Megan Michalson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is also a great way for students in grades 6th through 8th to earn community service hours. (The approximate distance of the parade is about 1.5 miles)
If you have any questions or would like more information before signing up, please let us know! Incentives include: free dress pass, your picture on Facebook and/or in the yearbook, treats, community service hours, and FUN WITH FRIENDS!!
St. Joseph Parish is putting together a team to run in the Salmon Days Run with the Fishes 1K (for kids)/5K (walk/run) on October 6. To register for the race please go online to: www.issaquahrun.com. After you have registered, pick up your team t-shirt for $10 either after Mass this weekend or in the parish office.
Trunk or Treat 2019
Our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat will take place Friday, October 25th. Look for more information and a sign up in the upcoming weeks.

Our Fall Textile Drive is just around the corner and we’re looking for a new event Chair! Responsibilities include coordinating Issaquah and Snoqualmie campus volunteers, renting a moving truck to transport donations, and delivering the donations to Value Village. Parent Teacher Conferences
4th & 5th Grade School Conference Online Sign-Up
Conferences take place on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8. This year sign-ups are online. Please click the link below to sign-up for a conference time with your child’s teacher. Thursday conferences run from approximately 12:30-6:30 pm. Friday conferences run from 9:30-4:00. To navigate the Thursday and Friday schedule for each teacher, click the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Please be careful not to overwrite another parent. Sign-up will close one week prior to conferences. If you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

Middle School Conference Online Sign-Up
Conferences for middle school families will be arena style on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8. To sign-up click the link to the document below. Please sign up for a 30- minute window of time. Four families may sign-up for each 30- minute window. During that window of time, you will have the opportunity to meet with each of your student's teachers for approximately 5 minutes. All five middle school teachers will be available to meet during this time. Parents will rotate from teacher to teacher. Please arrive at the beginning of your scheduled time. This style of conferencing will allow parents to talk with each subject area teacher individually.

Parents' Club Event Check Form
If you were unable to attend Taking Care of Business Day please be sure to fill out the Parents' Club Event Check Form. Fees included on this form are: Class Auction Project, Lazarus House, Emergency Supply, Field Day, and optional Yearbook order. The form is due for PreK through 8th grade students on Friday, October 5th to either office. You can find the form on our website.

Newsletter Blurbs and Flyers
Please submit all Newsletter blurbs by Tuesday if you would like them in Thursday's E-News. All fliers and blurbs must be approved. We try to keep the fliers to a minimum. Send all information to Annie at email@example.com.
